'Oh my budda!' as they say in Thailand. I saw this ad in a paper for a camera for only 30 dollars. A brand spanking new digital camera!! But you get what you pay for and I have to say the camera was more of a toy.. But.. it took these really cool over saturated photos. So I took a picture of a Budda, had some photoshop fun and well here you have it.
The coffee table; Functional art for the starving artist. With no money to buy a canvas, no money to buy furniture the street sometimes provides me with such beautiful things that can solve both needs. I should accredit my friend Annie who helped me with this collage.. and our other friend Mary-jane for the uh, the inspiration.
Why is it a flock of birds but a murder of crows? While living in Vancouver I walked out my door at the break of dawn to find myself walking through not a hundred not a thousand but I swear about a million crows! The were on the power lines as far as the eye could see. The sky was completely black and I could only hear the deafening sound of their communal caw. I was in heaven. I talked to some peopele and they said this happens every dusk and dawn. All the crows from the city and it's surrounding areas come together to sleep because there is more power in numbers. Lia and I decided to set out and find them once again. Unfortunately it wasn't like my 1st experience, but I got some pretty cool photos out of the deal.
C'est moi!
